PapstBlog mobil iPhone PDA Handy

Punkto Handy wäre noch zu sagen, dass Papst Benedikt (wie seinerZeit in Mariazell) derzeit in Australien wieder tägliche SMS Botschaften verschickt.

Eine davon lautete zum Beispiel:
"Junger Freund, Gott und seine Leute erwarten viel von Dir, denn Du hast in Dir das höchste Geschenk der Väter: den Geist von Jesus - BXVI."

Das ist ein SMS, dass Benedikt gestern an tausende Pilger am WeltJugendTag geschickt hat.

TELSTRA ein australisches TelekommunikationsUnternehmen hat am WeltJugendTag auch Basis-Stationen eingerichtet, von wo Jugendliche TextBotschaften an Familie und Freunde verschicken können. Weiters sind große Bildschirme aufgestellt worden (beim Sydney Opera House, Darling Harbour, Randwick Racecourse and the Domain). Auf diese können auch von Pilgern Botschaften geschickt werden.

Um nun diese täglichen SMS vom Papst zu bekommen, muss manfrau das Wort 'Pope' an die australische Nummer:
0400 405 111
senden.
Ob das auch von Europa aus funktioniert, kann ich derzeit nicht sagen. Wer es ausprobiert hat, mag ja vielleicht ein Kommentar hier im Blog hinterlassen. Dankeschön.
